Appellate Court found Zamihan 'unreliable witness'

FMT - Court throws out Zamihan’s defamation appeal against NGO (extracts):

PETALING JAYA: The Court of Appeal has upheld the decision of the High Court which found controversial preacher Zamihan Mat Zin an unreliable witness in the defamation suit brought by an NGO.
A three-man bench chaired by Rohana Yusof yesterday also ordered Zamihan to pay RM10,000 in costs to Syria Care, whom the preacher had linked to “Shia groups in Malaysia that must be monitored by the government”.

According to a press release issued by Shukor & Associates, the law firm for Syria Care, the Shah Alam High Court allowed the plaintiffs’ claim and awarded them RM50,000 in damages.

The suit was filed against Zamihan and the Star Media Group Bhd based on a report published by The Star Online, which attributed Zamihan to the defamatory article titled “Senseless jihad puts Malaysia as global violence hub, says Home Ministry officer”.

The Court of Appeal also agreed with the findings of fact by the trial judge that Zamihan was an unreliable witness as his answers were contradictory and against his own pleadings.

Justice Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh ordered Zamihan to pay Syria Care RM30,000 in costs.

So the court found Zamihan was an unreliable witness as his answers were contradictory and against his own pleadings. He wasn't just unreliable but also stupid in contradicting his own pleadings.

He continues to carry the label of racist, bigot, biadap (to HM Johor and PM) and arrogant.

Zahid must no longer protect such an ar$eh*le.

Sack him immediately for (a) his unsuitability and as stated by the Appeal Court (b) his unreliability, and also at the same time, humanely spare him from inadvertently touching his salary probably funded by unhygienic Chinese, and also spare those detained Islamist militants from his abuses.
